Anemone blanda

Also known as the "Grecian Windflower", Anemone blanda makes an attractive ground cover with daisy-like flowers and fern-like foliage. Circa 1898, this heirloom variety is a terrific underplanting for tulips or narcissi. Bulb size: 5 cm/up. Height: 4". Bloom time: April/May. Plant 4" deep and 3" to 4" apart. Horticultural zones 5-9.
