Because they are grown in the Southern Hemisphere, these bulbs are ready to pop out of dormancy more quickly and bloom in time for the holidays than Dutch Amaryllis that bloom after the holidays.

Usually blooming in four to six weeks once potted, they yield from 6” to 8 1/2” flowers on 12” to 20” stems, depending on the variety. Each will yield a second successive flowering stem! Amaryllis make one of the best cut flowers: if they become a bit too tall and leggy, cut them to a proportionate height for a clear glass vase.
